work horse

Tim and I have started the remodeling in our rental ( our landlord pays for us to help, and takes it off of the rent). We have demoed, torn up, sheetrocked, mudded, tapped ( I did that all my self), sanded, primmered, and I am tired. We still have a long way to go.
Easter has gone well. The kids haven't been more hipped-up on suger in the longest time. We had fun collecting candy at the park.

I'm not sleeping well. Tim keeps waking me up to tell me that I'm snoring. This morning I told him that I knew I was snoring, and enjoying it, let me get back to sleep. This whole thing has gone on for the last three months. I used to think that Tim was bad when snoring, then my mother came over while I was napping. She actually recorded me and woke me up to play it back. In all I feel very picked on.

I can't help but feel like there is a better way to express my self, so i've turned to writting this blog. I hope for all of you that read it ( other than my mother who I hope rests well in her nice bed next to my father who is three times as bad at snorring.) Some one will actually feel sorry for me. If not go, save your selves. you can die of shame another day.

hey there good lookin'!

Well, this week has been the most boring week of myy life. I haven't left the house since Sunday for church. On the bright side I cleaned all of the boxes that we had left to put away from moving.
The most part of the week we spent being with the kids. Today I blew up a beach ball and Sophie did nothin' but giggle for 10 miniutes. She loves throwing the ball. She even talks to it.
It is fairly obvious that since my husband isn't LDS, we watch some things that tend to be a little on the violent side. Beowulf, though extreamly bloody for a cartoon, was very true to the epic poem. The CGI effects in it are amasing, and the voice of Beowulf is extreamly atractive. If you are scwimmish, don't see it. It turned my stomach and I'm pretty hardy.

is it Spring yet?

So, I'm ready for Spring. I've done taxes. I've done cleaning. I've done working out indoors the best I can, and I'm ready to get out side!!!! I want to fix up this yard, I want to go to Moab, and I want the warm sun shinning on my face.
My beef this week is Ashlee, who in helping empty the dishwasher, decided to take a stake knife and stab the couch. We still don't know what to do with her. Maybe we'll figure it out next week!

confessions of a bathroom cleaner

so, I am finally cleaning my bathroom. Cleaning it has been a long time comming. I mostly remebered it this morning when I went to take a shower, and got out to dry my hair and saw most of tim's on the counter. I am a fairly tolerant person, but when I find beard stubble all over the counter instead of the sink I freak! Either he shaved in the dark, or he was leaving a message.
This Sunday I have to speak in church. I'm not excited. not at all! I would rathe have my eyes peirced with red hot needles, and have my heart ripped from my chest still beating than talk in church. My parents will be there, Which is good, because when I have the urge to tell an ireverant joke I can look at my mom, who will no doubt be scowling at me.
My kids are cute this week and haven't been to bad. Koodoos for me! Yeah!

kids..ahhhhhhhhh!

So like any mom I love my kids when they are sweet, helpful, and kind to all (mostly when they are asleep). On the other hand Like any mom I am having the hardest time with my 2 year old. They don't call it the terible two's for nothin' folks! Tim and I are constantly trying to clean up messes. My hands will never be the same again. The bleach from cleaning stuff has eaten them up.
We are planning a BIG trip to yellowstone in september. It will be the first time Tim and I have been back there since before Ashlee was born. I am really excited. I think our kids will love the animals and geysers. We will also take a wagon ride in roosevelt (part of the park). I really miss the park. I almost miss the unwashed hippies, the geysers gaiser fanatics, and the druggie/drunkies. They were all good entertainment, and since all of my favorite shows are in reruns, my only entertainment. I keep thinking back on things I would have done differently there, but with a few exceptions I think things would probley be the same. I think that includes my problem with Sophie too. She is the biggest pain/whiney/drama-queen, but It is soo hard to resist someone whe runs around the house screaming, "I princess! Tea party!" all day. She maybe a pain but with a few minor exception I think that I wouldn't have it any other way.

A New Year

This year has gotten off to a good start. Tim has been doing well with work. His boss had made our Christmas really nice. Ashlee is working on counting, but seems to miss the 7's (like 17,27,ect...) she can however spell her name and can recognise all the letters (big and small). Gavin is adjusting to our new home. He hasn't had an accident in 2 weeks! Yeah!
Sophie on the otherhand has been nothing, but trouble. I have had more food (cartons of eggs, gallons of milk, and cans of hot chocolate) on my floors this week than they have ever seen. After all of this, she is more understandable than Gavin is. I on the other hand am renewing my efforts to loose weight. I would like to loose around 55 lbs. I am also making an effort to keep my blog updated. This will be more of a journal for me than anything. I was called as advancedment chairperson for our ward. I will be in charge of both cubs and boy scouts. I also have been asked to light a fire of ambission under the leaders butts to get our boys more active.
