Hard work, Cute boys, and olive oil

Hard work has come to a head here in Vernal, or at least several hard bodies. After many months (2 1/2) of no dairy, two weeks of no carbs, and then two days of just carbs, Mr Uintah has come and gone. We screamed and cheered for Kaleb, saw way two many boys with way to few clothes, and painted my brother with ( you guessed it) olive oil. I must mention that he did smell better last year, when baby oil was used. I also got to practice with my beloved camera. All in all we had a blast, and i got away from my children.

P.S. If anyone remebers coach Steinsgard, he will be representing the USA in the olimpics for Greco-Roman wrestleing. I hope it means that he won't be naked. He also wrestled a small 500 lbs bear.

New adventures

It seems everyone is in for change as of late. It might be a move to a new home, it might be a new job, a contest, a written essay, or someone might be having a baby (not me, I'm attempting to loose 30 pounds before my birthday).

I find my self not changing. In this season of change, I find my self stagnent, with nothing coming in or going out. I am either not producing enough, or Heavenly Father has decided that I need a break.

I have just recived a letter from an instatute back east (not the crazy kind). They deal mainly with literature for youth. I sent them a short story I wrote called "Finding a Frog". It was a five minute story about weeding in my family's garden, however they clamed to be impressed with my story, and yes, I realise that although they wanted to take my money ( $54 a month) it did make my self esteem a bit higher for a moment. In return for my money they promised to help me get manuscript ready for publication in a major magazine. Plus six college credits. I actually wish I had the money to do it, but I wouldn't want to waste money.

In closing I would just like to write that although change may flow around us, little things (like my daughter saying "O! sank you mamma ( Oh Thank you mama)) clearly make the edding, stagnent water, clear and beautiful.

life izzzz goood!

The bathroom is finally finished! Everything looks good. Tim did a lot of good work. Everything looks very nice.

We are gearing up for summer, and it started by my shutterbug fever. I took the kids up to Stinicker (i hate spelling) and took about three hundred pictures of water, sand, waves (a few bigguns), and my beautiful children. I have also been walking. I have been averaging about 6 miles a day, but if I push to hard I have problems with shin splints. Tim picked up an old motorcross style dirt bike (motorcycle). for a very nice price. It is in very good condition. We have the funnest time taking the kids to the honda hills and take rides on it. Yes the children have helmets, and Tim (the experienced racer) takes the kids very slowly. I will be syked when we go to yellowstone at the end of the summer.
